Under the supervision of the Loan Servicing Supervisor, the Loan Servicing Specialist supports growth and customer retention by consistently delivering outstanding service and client support.  The Loan Servicing Specialist will provide quality service and solutions to customers regarding their loan account, while maintaining compliance with regards to payments, payoffs, payment history requests and customer inquiries.  This multi-functional position requires attention to detail to assist with loan review and loan validation. The Loan Servicing Specialist is a self-motivated individual that is responsible for maintaining the security of all sensitive loan documents in accordance with the policies and practices of First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Lorain.

Customer Service Representatives are responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions between the customers and the Financial Institution.  This position also requires answering routine inquiries, problem-solving, and performing duties that are supportive of the Branch operation.

The Assistant Branch Manager, in partnership with the Branch Manager, is responsible for the daily activities of the branch staff, branch operations, and meeting the financial needs of customers or prospects. The Assistant Branch Manager ensures efficient and satisfactory implementation of customer services and positive customer experience with the branch team while adhering to First Federal’s policies and procedures.

The VP – Residential Lending is a leadership role that oversees the Residential Lending areas. The responsibilities include management of staff, policies, procedures, and compliance, monitoring risks in the department, business development activities, and reviewing department reports.  This position demands analytical approaches and strong evaluation skills.

First Federal Savings of Lorain, a community-based savings and loan, has a VP -Treasurer position available.

The VP-Treasurer is responsible for serving as the Bank’s senior financial executive overseeing and representing all financial and accounting operations; and providing strategic leadership for the Bank as a member of the Bank’s Senior Management Team. In addition, the VP-Treasurer provides leadership, management, and guidance to other areas of the Bank as needed. The VP-Treasurer will be available to provide mentoring, education, and advice on various aspects of banking and talent management. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of Financial Performance reports to the Board of Directors and management. The VP-TREASURER is responsible for providing review of current performance, establishment of goals, strategies, and policies of the Bank. The VP-TREASURER will be responsible for ALM management of the Bank’s balance sheet. The establishment and compliance of internal controls and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations GAAP accounting principles, industry standards and the Bank’s policies.
